Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Anthony Crawford's musical career has spanned over four decades.
Growing up in a musical family, he formed his first group with his brothers, working part time jobs to save up for his first Martin guitar. As well as guitar, he taught himself to play the piano, banjo, mandolin, dobro, violin, and almost anything with strings on it. At a very early age he knew he would spend his life making music, and moving to Music City was a natural progression in pursuit of his dream. His distinctive voice and introspective songwriting style quickly brought attention to his talent.
As a vocalist and guitarist Anthony has appeared on more than a dozen albums, and has toured with a number of artists including Neil Young, Steve Winwood, Nicolette Larson, Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam and Blackhawk. Additionally, Anthony has released three solo records: "Anthony Crawford," "Unintentional Decoy," and "Radio Café."
Over the years Anthony has earned the respect and admiration of the musical community in Nashville and beyond. He has carved out a reputation as a significant talent, and the mere mention of his name to any of the most influential people in the music business inspires accolades.
Anthony’s songs have been recorded by Kenny Rogers, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Billy Burnett, and Lorrie Morgan. Recently Anthony collaborated with Steve Winwood on two songs for his "About Time" album. His reputation is international in scope and his talent is respected worldwide.
